Emma Cambourne - Mindfulness teacher

Emma Cambourne, Mindfulness teacher.

I have been practising Mindfulness since 2015 and have found it has had a significantly positive impact on my life.

I began by completing the Mindfulness-based stress reduction programme (MBSR) and have since completed a range of courses including Mindfulness for women.

I trained as Mindfulness teacher through the Mindfulness Now programme.   This certified teacher training is approved by The British Psychological Society and includes specialist tuition in mindfulness approaches, including the Mindfulness Now Programme which integrates key elements of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).  Both are evidence based and the latter is recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.)

From most of my career in education, I have worked as a Specialist Advisory Teacher for neurodivergent pupils.   Using mindfulness, I continue to support neurodivergent children and adults.
